This team from Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân took part in the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s Healthy Dragons Cup this week.

The tag rugby tournament was held at Rodney Parade and they came away as winners.

Every school was scored and given marks on respect and fair play by both the referees and the other team’s teachers.

The Dragons RFC shared a “big well done” message to the Cwmbran school 🙂

Catrin Evans, the school’s headteacher, said: “It was a lovely day, organised by the Dragons. There was a lovely atmosphere there throughout the day.

“We are incredibly proud of the pupils, not only of their great performance in the tournament, but also of the way their politeness and respect for other teams were recognised and appreciated by everyone involved.
