A ten-year-old Torfaen boy is walking up three peaks in South Wales to raise money for his neighbour who has a rare form of cancer.

Hunter Trigg lives in Griffithstown, near Teddy Sloman, three, who was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma cancer last year. Em, his mum, is friends with Sarah, Teddy’s mum, and will accompany Hunter as he climbs Pen y Fan, Sugarloaf and Skirrid.

The ‘Together for Teddy’ campaign was launched to pay for treatment not available in the UK to prevent Teddy having a relapse.

Hunter said: “Teddy and his family are the strongest, kindest people we know. I want to help Teddy and his family by raising as much money as I can.”

He is doing the walk on Sunday 23 August.
