Cwmbran-based youth project Randomz has won the Outstanding Project Promoting Entrepreneurship Award at this year’s Youth Work Excellence Awards. Randomz is a Skills, Education, Training and Enterprise Academy run by The Cwmbran Centre for Young People which helps young people gain employment or create their own enterprise business.

Cwmbran’s Jarad Hinnem to represent Wales at rugby league in the Student World Cup

Cwmbran student launches fundraiser to help secure Commonwealth Games spot

In September 2016, Welsh student Megan Chard made a decision many 19-year-olds would shy away from, she started a new career – cycling. The former Croesyceiliog School pupil’s ambition is to spend the majority of next season in Belgium and other countries on the continent, racing against top cyclists.
