Former rugby stars head to Cwmbran for a charity dinner

The former Wales and British Lion scrum half Brynmor Williams   is the guest speaker at a dinner in Cwmbran. The Welsh Charitables RFC latest fundraising event is on Friday 16 November at Greenmeadow Golf Club.

Guests will enjoy the company of Brynmor along with many other former stars of the game. On the night David Watkins will be stepping down as chair of the Charitables and taking his place will be Terry Cobner.

Tickets cost £35 and include a four course dinner. Call David Power, secretary, on 01633 864938 or 07973 705062 to reserve your place.

All the money raised on the night will be shared between the Welsh Charitables’ five charities, St Anne’s Hospice, Welsh Rugby Former International Players Association, Ty Hafan, the family hospice for young lives, the Prince’s Trust Cymru and St David’s Foundation Hospice Care.
