Theatre AdHoc presents Agatha Christie’s Poirot in Black Coffee
A Poirot thriller – a superbly crafted whodunit with endless red herrings, subplots of infamous spies and an astonishingly prophetic storyline about weapons created through “bombarding the atom” – is one of Christie’s most gripping country house murder mysteries.

Get ready to be spellbound!
Owen Money returns to the director’s chair with Rainbow Valley Productions’ dazzling new pantomime — Sleeping Beauty!
All seems to be well in the kingdom of Harmonia, where King Leo, with the assistance of Nurse Molly Merryweather and silly interruptions from ‘Jerry The Jester’, is making last-minute plans for the Christening of Aurora, the baby girl he adopted after she was left outside the palace gates. The VIP guests will soon arrive, but the King didn’t invite the Queen Of Vulgaria, an evil sorceress with an ego the size of Donald Trump’s gold ‘plane. Furious at being snubbed, she turns up hours before the ceremony and places a curse on Aurora, telling the King that his daughter will not live beyond her 18th birthday. If the King tries to seek revenge, her pet dragon Basil will destroy Harmonia!
Don’t you just loathe her already?
King Leo asks Molly & Jerry to take Aurora to a remote cottage in the woods where Molly can bring her up under the name of Rosebud, so the wicked Queen can never find her.
Aurora/Rosebud grows into a beautiful young lady, but on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, she meets young Prince Justin and discovers her real name and that she’ll become a princess when she’s 18. She begs the King to let her return to the palace to celebrate and, reluctantly, he agrees. Despite being protected by King Leo, Molly, Jerry, and Prince Justin – who’s fallen in love with her – Aurora is cursed by the Wicked Queen who sends her to sleep for 100 years.
How will she survive? Will the Forest Fairy be able to reverse the curse? And isn’t that terrifying roar the sound of Basil The Dragon approaching the King’s palace?
Rainbow Valley Productions “Sleeping Beauty” is packed with laughter, songs, magic, dancing and (not too) scary thrills – ensuring there’s no chance of anyone sleeping through this beauty of a panto!
