A national home‑care provider is inviting residents, community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Torfaen to put forward local projects for a chance to receive funding that could make a real difference in their community.
Caremark has opened nominations for its new Community Care Fund, which will award three grants of £3,000 to grassroots projects across the UK.
Projects could include anything from planting up a local park, improving a pre‑school play area, updating a community centre kitchen, or helping a small charity buy supplies or brighten up its building. Any idea will be considered as long as it benefits the local community.
Residents aged 18 and over can nominate a project by completing a short online form, explaining how the money would be used and uploading a supporting photo.
One finalist will be chosen from each of Caremark’s 12 UK regions before a public vote decides the three winners.
Caremark CEO David Glover said the fund aims to highlight the “positive impact” of small community projects and give people a chance to champion the initiatives they care about.
