Cwmbran Historical Society has a wide mix of local, national and international history topics planned throughout the year.
Meetings take place at 7.30pm at The Forgehammer CIC on Greenhill Road (the former RAFA Club) and new members are welcome. Annual membership costs £10, or visitors can attend individual talks for £2. Each evening also includes a bar and raffle.

- Wednesday 15 July – The Plague with Roger Morgan
- August – No meeting
- Wednesday 16 September – Godfrey Morgan and the Charge of the Light Brigade with Paul Busby
- Wednesday 21 October – India’s Golden Triangle with Roger James
- Wednesday 18 November – AGM plus The Best Year? with Rob Wilkinson
- Wednesday 9 December – 15 Famous Places Near Cwmbran plus buffet with John Burrows
The society says anyone with an interest in history – whether local or global – is welcome to come along to any talk.
