A Torfaen six-year-old boy has raised over £400 and donated his hair to be made into wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.

Koa James, from Griffithstown, has so far raised £425 but is still taking donations.

Zoe Arrowsmith, his mum, said “My son has cut his beautiful long curls off and given them to the Little Princess Trust. He loves helping others. He decided to cut his hair and that’s when we looked into the charity and he was so excited to be able to give his hair to someone who would love it as much as he has done. So proud of him, he has such a beautiful soul. He makes us proud every day.”

Koa went to Pit Stop Barbers in Pontypool for the cut.

Zoe said: “Cai cut his hair and he was amazing so patient and felt privileged to have cut Koa’s hair.”
