Ten-year-old Hunter Trigg is pictured on top of the three peaks in South Wales that he walked up on Sunday to raise money for his neighbour.

Teddy Sloman, three, was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma cancer last year. Hunter lives near Teddy and their mums are friends.

He decided on the fundraising challenge to walk up the Skirrid, Sugarloaf and Pen y Fan on Sunday 23 August 2026 to help the ‘Together for Teddy’ campaign.

Emily, Hunter’s mum, said they shared Teddy’s story with people they met on each peak and this led to more donations. The family celebrated when they got home to Griffithstown with a takeaway pizza.
