Jake Wicks talks about his love of table tennis and his ambitions to compete at the Paralympics and European Championships in this video.
Jake, who lives in the Pontrhydyrun area of Cwmbran, contracted meningitis at the age of two, and the infection left him with cerebral palsy. He had to learn to sit up and walk again.
Eighteen years later, he plays for his country at table tennis and has ambitions to compete at the Paralympics.
I met him last week during a training session at the stunning Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff.
