Two Gwent teens put on show at Congress Theatre to help pay for their drama course

Two Gwent students are putting on a show at the Congress Theatre to raise money to go on to study drama.

Bethan Jones, aged 18, is off to study at Arts Educational Schools in London and Abigail FitzGerald, aged 19, is going to The Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts.

They’re fundraising show is called Wales to the West End.

Both girls are members of Gwent groups We Are What We Are (WAWWA), the musical theatre company and Musical Youth UK Newport (MYUK).

It is on Wednesday 17 July and the show starts at 7.15pm. Tickets cost £8 and £6.50 concessions.

WAWWA, MYUK and acapella group Noteworthy are performing at the concert.

The show will also include musical songs by Bethan and Abigail.
