Can you donate a prize to help pupils at Cwmbran High School?

The school’s Parent, Teacher, and Friends Association (PTFA) is holding a raffle to support the school’s end-of-term ‘BranFest’- an all-day festival of ‘music, food, games and fun’ for pupils.

Kathryn Ayling, the family and community engagement officer at Cwmbran High School, said: “The PTFA at Cwmbran High is raising funds to support any enhanced activities or equipment for the pupils.

“We are currently looking for support from businesses and the community towards our Branfest celebration at the end of the year, where we are offering our pupils the opportunity to celebrate the academic year’s success.

“The PTFA is working towards charity status and having external support and funding. We intend to enhance the opportunities for our disadvantaged pupils, such as the young carers and free school meals, and want to develop the experiences available to our young people.

“As a group, we are very proud of the school and how hard it is working, especially coming out of special measures, and we believe that our pupils deserve the best.”
