The 20th Abergavenny Food Festival took place over the weekend (15/16 September). The town is just 13 minutes on the train from Cwmbran and yet I’m ashamed to say it was my first ‘proper’ visit.

CWMBRAN is to help host the world’s biggest youth film festival when it returns to Wales this year. Almost 45,000 free cinema tickets are up for grabs for primary and secondary school pupils throughout Wales. The festival runs from 7 to 23 November.

£1,000 was raised at a netball tournament at Cwmbran Stadium held in memory of a player who passed away in May 2018 from a brain tumour.
