The Cwmbran Big Event took place on Saturday 8 June 2019. This year’s event was organised by Cwmbran Community Council for the first time- taking over from Torfaen Council.

Cwmbran archer Dave Phillips will be heading to Tokyo in 2020 after securing a quota place for Great Britain in the Paralympic Games. He will be competing in the men’s recurve category.
