Greenmeadow Community Farm is celebrating its first anniversary this weekend following a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
Sunday sees the return of the popular farm show with a packed day of family entertainment, competitions and live music.
Around 30 exhibitors will showcase 85 entries across 30 competition classes, giving visitors the chance to see homegrown fruit and vegetables, floral displays, baking, photography, crafts and children’s creations.
Live entertainment will include a performance from country music favourite Miss Rebecca Jones and her band between 12pm and 2pm, while Circus for Positivity will bring interactive fun, laughter and circus skills demonstrations to the Dairy throughout the day.
Jac Griffiths, the manager of Greenmeadow Community Farm, said: “Over the past year we’ve welcomed more than 100,000 visitors, hosted thousands of schoolchildren and re-established Greenmeadow as a popular destination for families, schools and the wider community.
“The Farm Show is the perfect way to celebrate that success. It’s wonderful to see so many people getting involved and showcasing their talents. Combined with live music, entertainment, special offers and plenty to see and do around the farm, we’re looking forward to a brilliant day.”
