Staff at Cwmbran Motazone have turned a Ford Ka into a limousine. Five friends from the town are now driving 1,800 miles to Portgual to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Paul Skull, Keith Skull, Justin Woodham, Terry Smith and Mike Roberts are taking part in the Two Ball Banger Rally and expect to arrive in Lisbon in five days.

What is the Two Ball Banger Rally?

London to Lisbon is like no other rally we have planned before; it’s got more miles, more days, it starts in the UK and we’ll all be driving the same vehicle…. A Ford KA! This route will really be a true test of man/woman and machine, 1850 miles in a car that was originally designed for grandma, what could possibly go wrong? We want it to be one big adventure from start to finish; we’ve incorporated beautiful scenery, historical landmarks, breath taking mountains, a race circuit, crazy challenges and of course, the capital of Portugal, Lisbon….. not to mention a few beers along the way coupled with the great company of like mined people.

The Ford Ka was just over 3 metres before they got to work. It took six week work over six months to convert it into a 5.2 metre limousine.
