Darren ‘Graceland’ Jones can’t wait to return to the stage at Crowfest 2025. The award-winning Elvis tribute was a hit at last year’s festival.

The event, organised by Cwmbran Community Council, is at Cwmbran Stadium on Saturday 19 July, with the crowd capacity increased from 2,000 to 3,000. This year’s lineup features The Oasis Experience, Rusty Shackle, Watkins and Oliver, Abba Revival, and Guns2Roses.

Darren told Cwmbran Life he was looking forward to having more time on stage this year.

‘Vegas set’

He said: “It’s going to be a Vegas set, more in keeping with what I’m comfortable with. I’d like to showcase myself to Cwmbran and get Cwmbran to appreciate Elvis over his career.”

He said his set would include Elvis’ covers of several songs, including Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’.

Darren has fond memories of watching athletics at Cwmbran Stadium and remembers being in the 8,000+ crowd when Cwmbran Town took on Manchester United in 1994.

“I’ve played football on there a few times, and that was a privilege”, he said, “To be back there is great. I remember being part of the first festivals they had there, with C.J. Lewis and people like that [in 1995].
