A giant plastic dinosaur has appeared in a Cwmbran garden

The Cwmbran dinosaur

A giant plastic dinosaur has become Cwmbran’s newest tourist attraction. The unusual sight has attracted 100s of visitors since it arrived yesterday.

I knocked on the door of the house this morning but the man who paid Dan-yr-Ogof caves for one of their former attractions was out. I left my number with his wife who said he will call me when he’s back home.

This lovely post explains more about the Cwmbran dinosaur

The National Showcaves Centre sold the dinosaur and gave every penny of the £1,600 to JDRF, a charity that helps people with diabetes.

It was put on a trailer and driven 50 miles down the M4 yesterday to Cwmbran. The post from Dan-Yr-Ogof on Facebook attracted photos and videos from people who spotted the unusual load.
