A teenage swimmer from Torfaen Dolphins has won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games.
Theodora Taylor, 17, is in Glasgow with Team Wales. She was a member of the mixed 4 x 100m relay team who came third in the final on Saturday evening.
Tom Croke, head coach at Torfaen Dolphins and Team Wales coach, said: “It was an incredible evening. Brave, skillful and fast racing.”
She swam with Matt Richard, Dan Jones and Bex Sutton. Australia took gold, setting a new Commonwealth Games record, and England came second.
It was an extra special night for Wales. This was the third relay medal won in the pool by Wales- adding to podium finishes in 2018 and 1970.
