Are you aged 65+ with a sense of humour and fancy playing football again? Cwmbran Celtic Walking Football Club is searching for a 65+ goalkeeper to join their squad.
The team says you don’t need to be throwing yourself around the goalmouth – no diving required – just someone with “safe hands, quick reactions or at least a good sense of humour” and a love of being part of a friendly, welcoming group.
Walking football continues to grow across the area, offering players of all ages a chance to stay active, meet new people and enjoy the game at a slower pace. Celtic has several teams with over 100 men and women taking part each week in competitive and social matches.
