A new laughter yoga group is starting at Cwmbran Library to help people aged 50+ boost their wellbeing through gentle movement, breathing exercises and plenty of laughter.

The weekly sessions, led by Joe Hoare who started Bristol Laughter Club in 2003, began on Wednesday 10 June at 2pm and are designed for anyone looking to reduce stress, improve mobility or simply enjoy a positive, friendly hour with others. There’s no performing, no pressure and no jokes to tell- just guided exercises you can do at your own pace.

The project is run by Action for Elders in partnership with Torfaen Council.
