Cwmbran’s Harvester restaurant is closing down this month.
It will shut its doors on Thursday 18 June. A spokesperson for the chain told Cwmbran Life that they hope to support “as many employees as possible” in moving to new roles at their other sites.
A spokesperson for Harvester said: “Sadly, we can confirm the Harvester St Davids in Cwmbran will close following service on June 18th , 2026.
“This decision has been taken after careful consideration and as part of the continual review of our estate and we are in consultation with the team and hope to redeploy as many employees as possible at our other nearby businesses.
“There is still more than two weeks for locals to enjoy the restaurant before it closes, and
“Beyond that, fans of the Harvester can still enjoy Harvester Pontypool, Spytty Retail Park, Newport and The Borderer, Newport.
“We’d like to thank our loyal guests for their support and the brilliant team at St Davids for their hard work.”
