These wonderful photo was taken on International Women’s Day at a special event in Cwmbran organised by the Wales Gurkha Community Mothers’ Group.
Around 200 people attended the event in Cwmbran’s army reserve centre on Sunday 8 March 2026.
This included members of the Nepali communities in Cardiff, Brecon and Newport.
The event was hosted by Rosni Chemjong and Bidhya Khebang.
The Mothers’ Group is chaired by Mrs Harkmaya Rai and Mr Badri Yongya is the programme coordinator.
