Singing fans can watch a talented Cwmbran tenor perform live in the town this week – just two weeks before he appears in a brand‑new Channel 4 series.
Lee Cander is the special guest at Pontnewydd Male Choir’s annual concert at St David’s Church on Saturday 18 April at 7.15pm. Tickets are £8 and can be bought on the door.
The 34‑year‑old will feature in episode four of Your Song, airing on Sunday 3 May at 9pm on Channel 4.
Presented by Alison Hammond, the show brings a pop‑up stage and live house band into cities across the UK, giving ordinary people the chance to perform the one song that tells their story. Mentors Paloma Faith and Sam Ryder watch from a hidden location before stepping out to share their reactions.
