Young footballers from Cwmbran Town AFC’s U13s are gearing up for a physical and mental challenge- climbing three iconic Welsh mountains in the same day to raise funds for their team.
On Sunday 8 February 2026, the players and coaches will tackle the Abergavenny Three Peaks Challenge, scaling Blorenge, Skirrid, and Sugarloaf in one go. The effort is part of a fundraising campaign to support the team’s growing needs, including new equipment, pitch hire, and their planned 2026 football tour.
Organisers say the challenge is a way for the team to push themselves beyond the pitch while building camaraderie and resilience. Every donation, big or small, will help provide better opportunities for the players so please show your support if you can 🙂
