Torfaen Sea Cadets took part in Sunday’s Remembrance Sunday parade in Pontnewydd.
Commanding Officer Gregory Phillips told me he first took part in the event in 1986.
I walked into the Torfean Sea Cadets unit at 8.45am on Sunday 9 November, and breakfast was being served.
The members were preparing for an important morning. Once they were all fed, the cadets started to get ready for the event.
I interviewed CO Phillips as he walked down Commercial Street, 20 minutes before the start of the parade.
In this video, he talks about the cadets and the amazing opportunities they offer young people
