Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on Greenforge Way in Cwmbran.

Three cars were involved in the incident at about 12.40pm on Tuesday 5 October- a white Peugeot Partner van, a black Vauxhall Astra and a blue Ford Focus.

The passenger in the Focus, a 77-year-old woman, died on Sunday 10 October.  Her family are being supported by specially trained officers.

The driver of the Ford Focus was taken to hospital but is now back home.
