Congratulations to Matthew Kay for winning the 2025 Pontnewydd Working Men’s Club darts open competition.
Forty-eight players entered the event on Sunday 24 August.
Matthew beat Alan Reynolds in the final. Alan had the highest checkout of the day with a 130.
🎯 Nathan Treadgold and Sean Thompson lost in the semi-finals.
🎯 Graham Jones, Dean Carvell, Tomos Evans, and Liam Cooke lost in the quarter finals.
🎯 Caitlin Manley was the furthest female.
🎯Liam Cooke was the furthest youth player.
The darts competition was organised by Tomos Evans and Nathan Treadgold. It was supported by sponsors including Davies Timber Yard, Taurus Airport Transfers, Smart Darts in Fairwater Shops, and G Hitchens Paving and Landscapes.
