The new campus for Coleg Gwent has brought together three sixth forms in Torfaen and Pontypool College to one site. Learners should have started studying in the building last September- but Covid-19 led to some delays.

An opening ceremony was held today (Wednesday 21 April 2021) with Mark Langshaw, chair of the board, cutting a ribbon. About a third of the capacity of students are in the building at any time- with them working on a rota through the week.

The new campus offers a wide range of courses for all types of learners in Torfaen.

Torfaen Learning Zone is part of the Welsh Government 21st Century Schools and Colleges programme and managed and run by Coleg Gwent in partnership with Torfaen County Borough Council.
