VIDEO: A seaside-loving Cwmbran family who got married in Tenby six years ago TODAY have built a beach on their drive to celebrate their wedding anniversary

James Fry proposed to Laura Louise on a beach in Tenby and the happy couple were married in the Pembrokeshire town six years ago today.  But they didn’t let self-isolation scupper their plans to celebrate with sun and sand today.

James is a self-employed carpenter and had the brainwave of using the stocks of wood on his van to recreate Tenby beach..in his driveway in Croesyceiliog.

The couple’s children, Ruby (ten) and Travis (seven)  were quick to put on their costumes and dive in.

Laura went one step further to enjoy her anniversary and put on her wedding dress. Neighbours along the street have been laughing and sending their best wishes from a safe distance to the happy couple.

She said: “Every year since our wedding we have visited a beach to celebrate. James decided to make our own beach on our driveway, where we get the sun, so we could still celebrate and the kids could still have fun in isolation.”

The brilliant video even shows James getting out his drill and starting work on the beach- before celebrating with a beer from his own beachside bar- and open his van to reveal a well-stocked bar.
