Vandals wreck children’s seesaw in Cwmbran park

Vandals have wrecked a children’s seesaw in a Cwmbran Park.

Torfaen Council reported the attack in Pontnewydd Park to Gwent Police. Council staff believe a disc cutter was used to chop off half of the toy.

A spokesperson for Torfaen Council said: “To replace the seesaw would cost over £3,000, so at this time we have to consider whether we are able to replace it.”

The spokesperson described it as:  “Vandalism like we’ve never seen before.”

If you have any information please phone the Council 01495 762200 or contact Heddlu Gwent Police on 101 or through their social media channels.
