If you enjoy a pub quiz there are two taking place this week that will challenge your brain cells. The first is tomorrow night (Tuesday) at the Mount Pleasant in Old Cwmbran. All the money raised will go to the Mayor of Torfaen’s charity appeal that is supporting Tenovus Mobile Cancer Support Unit, Torfaen and District Multiple Sclerosis Society and the British Heart Foundation. There is a small entry fee and a prize for the winners. If you are interested in entering a team just turn up on the night. The quiz is due to start around 7.30pm – 8pm.
The second is on Sunday night at the Bush in Upper Cwmbran and is a quiz with a difference. This is how it is describd on the pub’s Facebook page.
Next Sunday, the 26th of Feb we have a special internet quiz where we compete live with other pubs around Britain. Come along by around 8pm for the 8:30 pm start. A trial game last month was good fun, we had about 20 people in the team and overall we came second! If you enjoy quizzes please come next week and help us keep up with the leaders.
