Two candidates have been nominated for a vacancy with Croesyceiliog and Llanyrafon Community Council.

Residents will go to the polls on Thursday 8 June 2023 to choose a new candidate for the Llanyrafon West Ward. The election is being held following the passing of Cllr Alun Rappell.

The two candidates are:

• Liam Boycott: Welsh Labour
• Cory Scriven: Welsh Conservative Party
