Trying to keep up with the For Luca runners as they leave Cwmbran on their 175 mile run. You Tube video on Cwmbran Life

Seventeen runners left Colwyn Bay yesterday morning to run to Newport in south Wales. They are raising money for the For Luca Appeal. Click here to read how Barack Obama has even played a part in this amazing campaign for Luca, a young boy from Newport.

The twitter feed set up by the runners told me they were just getting through Croesyceiliog in Cwmbran. My plan was to get to the Greenhouse pub and grab a quick video as they headed out of the town towards Newport.

This bunch of super fit fundraisers were too quick for me and they had passed the pub before I could park. It was a bit of a scramble to get ahead of them and park safetly so I went to the petrol station on Malpas Road and ran back towards the town. Watch this video below of the runners taken at 10.45am today.

You can donate to the For Luca by simply clicking here and visiting the Just Giving page. Here is the link to Lucas's Facebook page. You can also text LUCA80 £5/£10 to 70070.
