Torfaen Council didn’t spend any money on coronation events for King Charles III.

The media platform openDemocracy asked every local authority in  England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland how much they were planning to spend to mark the occasion. A total of 286 replied and 160 said would be spending some money on the occasion.

Their research found 26 had plans to spend more than £50,000 each. You can search for your local council’s response on its website to see how much money was allocated for the event.
