The Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards 2021- Good luck to Cwmbran’s Abigail Knight

The seventh Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards 2021 take place in December

The event bring together individuals from the hair and beauty industries, from cosmetic companies and stylists, to hair and beauty businesses, academies and clinics.

They are organised honoured by Creative Oceanic but voted for by the Welsh public who experience the joy of a good pampering first hand.

A wide-range of accolades will presented including Beauty Salon of the Year, Hair Salon of the Year, Lash Expert of the Year, Makeup Artist of the Year, and many more.

Abigail Hannah Makeup, Cwmbran has been shortlisted in the Freelance Hair & Makeup Specialist of the Year category.

She said: “It was completely overwhelming to be nominated for this award, and to be shortlisted as a finalist for the award ceremony in December. It’s a great feeling to be recognised for my hard work and dedication to the hair and beauty industry, especially after surviving through the Covid-19 pandemic. I would like to thank all of those that took the time to nominate my business and I for this wonderful award.”

A spokeperson for The Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards 2021, said: “The Covid-19 pandemic presented unique challenges for the hair and beauty industry with many businesses being forced to close and various restrictions being in place. However, many businesses have successfully adapted to the new challenges the industry has faced since the pandemic started.”

“In recognition of this, the Awards will shine the spotlight on the talented professionals that have shown great passion, commitment and innovation for the beauty industry, who often don’t get the recognition they deserve.

“With fierce competition this year, we would like to wish to the finalists the best of luck and we can’t wait to welcome our guests and deliver another enjoyable event.”
