Theatre Adhoc presents ‘NOW IN A MINUTE!’ – an Ystrad Cwm Gelli comedy written by Julia Lewis and directed by Andrew Pippen

Sophisticated dining has finally arrived in the sleepy valleys town of Ystrad Cwm Gelli with the development of their very own fast food court. However, the business venture that was designed to bring people together, seems to be having the totally opposite effect and a competition amongst the stall holders to find the best cuisine isn’t helping matters at all.

• Will it be Angharad’s range of off-the-wall burgers or Stan’s deep fried offerings that ultimately scoop the top prize?

• How will Susan and Tony adapt to their major lifestyle change after their eventful around the world cruise?

• How long can Dr Parry hide from her patients before the receptionists drag her back to the surgery?

• Can Owen shake off global notoriety and live life as a humble maintenance operative?

And can they all do it whilst avoiding sensationalist headlines in the Ystrad Cwm Gelli Chronicle?

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – 2024 Tour

Fri 9 February to Sunday 18 February (2pm or 7pm on different dates). Tickets £17.50 (£13.50 concessions). Click here for tickets.

As written by the Brothers Grimm, the story of Snow White…the seven dwarfs she meets in the forest….the Prince who falls in love with her…and the wicked aunt who plots to get rid of her, contains all the elements that make it a perfect subject for an exciting, entertaining pantomime that will appeal to all ages, there’s even a mirror that speaks!

STORY

Snow White is a pretty young girl who lives in an enormous castle owned by her aunt, The Queen and dreams of one day meeting a handsome Prince who will fall in love with her and take her away from the cold, forbidding place where she’s lived since her parents died.

The Queen is a vain, wicked woman who is so jealous of Snow White’s beauty she orders her Royal Huntsman to take the young girl deep into the forest and dispose of her! But the kind-hearted Huntsman cannot carry out her request and tells Snow White to run deep into the forest and hide, never to return.

After wandering through the forest, Snow White discovers a small cottage which contains seven little chairs and seven little beds. Tired after her long walk, Snow White lays down across all seven beds and falls asleep.

When she wakes up she finds herself surrounded by the owners of the cottage…the seven dwarfs. Instantly, they all fall in love with her…even though one of them pretends he hasn’t!

They listen to her story about the wicked Queens plan and decide they must help her. But what can seven little men do against a powerful sorceress with evil burning in her eyes…vengeance burning in her heart…and a ham and pineapple pizza burning in her oven?

Apart from buying her a smoke alarm?

Naturally, good eventually triumphs over evil – but before that happens you can be part of the adventure, the danger, the excitement and the roof-raising, side-splitting, rib-tickling hilarity that Rainbow Valley Productions are known for.

The Seven Dwarfs recommend you buy your tickets as soon as possible, because if you leave it too late, they could be in short supply!

Just our little joke!
