Scammers stole a total of £40,000 from elderly residents in two households in Gwent this week.

Tributes have been paid to Carly Flook, a 30-year-old Cwmbran woman who passed away on Boxing Day. She had been diagnosed with leukemia in 2019 and undergone “many rounds of chemotherapy.”
