A new monthly support group has launched in Cwmbran to help people living with hearing loss – and their families – feel understood, supported and less alone.
The Hearing Loss Support Group meets at Carro Lounge in Gwent Square on the first Monday of every month from 6pm to 8pm, offering a relaxed space to talk, share experiences and meet others.
The group is open to anyone with any level of hearing loss or deafness, as well as partners, relatives and carers. Organiser Elizabeth says the aim is simple: to create a friendly place where people can chat without pressure, swap tips, and support one another through the challenges that hearing loss can bring.
Each session includes time to chat, share experiences, pick up practical advice and build new friendships. There’s no need to book – just drop in, grab a drink and join the conversation.
