Plans for a new microbrewery, cafe and hot-desk facility have been submitted for a site in Cwmbran

Torfaen Council has received a planning application for a microbrewery, cafe and hot-desk facility on Springvale Industrial Estate in Cwmbran.

The application is summarised as: “Change of use to provide new communal workspace with internet access and cafe bar and microbrewery business. Extension to existing car park, erection of lean-to canopy, storage container and alterations to existing building to provide new sitting out area.”

The proposed development says customers will be able to reserve a workspace to enjoy a “coffee and light bite” while using the high-speed internet. The microbrewery part of the business will offer customers beers brewed on the site, tastings and the chance to learn about how the drinks were made.
