Large areas of the playground at Cwmbran boating lake have been fenced off with ‘construction site’ signs. The swings and the climbing frame in the middle can still be used.
A path that loops around part of the park has also been ripped up. There are several large mounds of earth and rubble behind the fences.
It looks like the floor surface is being changed. I’m sure it used to be that soft, rubber stuff. Perhaps a more safer surface will be taking its place?
Let’s hope the helicopter climbing frame does not get taken away.
