Visitors are being invited to enjoy a relaxed day of gardening fun as Llanfrechfa Grange Walled Garden hosts its Have a Grow / Trio Tyfu celebration this Saturday.
The free event, which runs from 10.30am to 4pm on 6 June, is part of a national campaign that shines a spotlight on community growing projects across the UK. The volunteer team at the walled garden are opening their gates for a day packed with activities for all ages.
There will be plant sales, refreshments, a propagation station, a pebble hunt and a range of stalls, along with a visit from Root for our Future, who will be sharing ideas on sustainable growing.
Organisers say the day is all about giving people the chance to explore the garden, get inspired and enjoy the peaceful space next to the Grange University Hospital.
The event is free to attend, and everyone is welcome to drop in at any time during the day.
