Touch rugby is a great team sport without physical contact. Girling Ladies touch rugby team want to encourage more players to get involved and enjoy the fitness, competitiveness and social side of the sport.

One player said: “It’s nice to do it together as a team and say we are Girling Ladies.”

The nearby Goode’s Fitness gym offers them free sessions if the weather is bad. The players have been taking part in the Cwmbran 5km Parkrun every Saturday morning to help their fitness. They play in tournaments and hope to go away on tour next season.
