Fundraiser for Royal Gwent baby unit to celebrate the lives of Cwmbran family who died in a house fire

The community still feels a deep sadness by the tragic lost of the Buckley family last year. This is the kind of sadness that only time can heal. Gwynn Swain, Kim's mother wants us to celebrate the lives of her daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter and is holding a fundraiser on the weekend nearest to Kim's birthday, Saturday 23 February from 7pm to 11pm.

Coed Eva & Hollybush Community Hall Committee offered their facilities for free and are helping to organise the event.

Gwynn Swain said: “This is to raise funds for the Royal Gwent Hospital Special Care Baby Unit who did a wonderful job caring for my great granddaughter”.

Coed Eva Councillor Fiona Cross said: “I commend Gwynn, her family, friends and the local community for investing themselves into something so positive.”

If you'd like to know more about the fundraiser please visit the White Hut website or call 07986 228454.
