Residents are being invited to take on a charity firewalk this September as Hope Centre Ministries celebrates its ten‑year anniversary with a fundraising event at Victory Church in the town.
The event takes place on Saturday 12 September, starting at 4pm, with the firewalk itself beginning at around 8pm. Only 100 firewalk places are available, priced at £5 each, with every penny raised supporting Hope Centre Ministries’ work helping people overcome addiction and rebuild their lives.
The firewalk is being organised by a professional firewalk company, with full training provided before participants step onto the glowing embers.
Alongside the firewalk, the evening will feature food, entertainment and a fireworks display to close the night. So far, two vendors have been confirmed – Firelight Pizza and Tammy’s Coffi Baa- with more being announced over the coming days.
