Fairwater Runners invite you to par-take in a brand new event to the racing calendar. The ‘Bog & Bryn Challenge’ is a very tough scenic 20km (approx) multi-terrain race across the footpaths, open fields, country lanes and woodland of Llantarnam, Henllys, Coed Eva and Hollybush. The route includes numerous stiles and stream crossings, very challenging terrain underfoot and a total elevation of approximately 500m (1640ft).

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE COURSE THE USE OF OFF ROAD OR FELL TRAINERS IS ESSENTIAL

If you like it muddy, if you like it tough this is one not to miss

It takes place on Sunday 4 November at 10.30am from Cwmbran Stadium. For the latest info on the race keep on eye on this Facebook page set up by the club. You can enter online by clicking here and going to the Runners World website.
