This brilliant photo has been shared of the young cast from Beginners’ Call Cymru, who are performing hit musical ‘Grease’ at the Congress Theatre this week.
They are taking on all the iconic roles, including the T‑Birds and the Pink Ladies.
They will stage two performances this Friday – a matinee and an evening show.
Emily Porter, the show’s director, said: “We have put together our production of Grease in ten rehearsals only. Our young people have been working from 9am to 4pm since Saturday putting the show together. They have done a fantastic job so come on down to Congress on Friday 24 July at 2pm or 6pm.
“We have not only done the show in a short space, but the car has been built from scratch in 24 hours. The set was built in 24 hours too.”
One of the cast said: “It’s been tiring, but we are so excited. We can’t believe how quick the rehearsals have gone. We are proud of what we have achieved in a week!”
