Cwmbran Bowlplex has announced it is reopening this Friday. Last week a story in the South Wales Argus revealed that the alley’s landlord had repossessed the site.

Tonight on the Cwmbran Bowlplex Facebook page a notice said

Barring any last minute hiccups we will be re-open from 12pm on Friday and most importantly we will be open for the rugby on Saturday – Come on Wales – Oggy Oggy Oggy!

A post on the page yesterday said

Hi Guys,

We’re still working to be open ASAP! Once we’ve an update, we’ll be sure to let you all know, and even offer some discounted bowling as thank you for all your support.

Several people posted messages of support for the club and a response said

Thanks guys – we are all working really hard to get open ASAP. Once we’ve an update we’ll let you now. We’ll run a special promotion for our Facebook friends as thank you too!
