Can you mix a mean cocktail? Cwmbran Women’s Institute is appealing for a Tom Cruise to show them how to mix cocktails at their June meeting.

Caroline Bowden, president of Cwmbran’s WI, said: “Each meeting is different and as this is our first year we are looking to try as many new things as possible from cocktail making, paper cutting, massage and aromatherapy to car maintenance and local history.

“We want someone to come along and teach us how to make cocktails for us to drink on Monday 16 June.

“We meet on the third Monday of every month at 7.30pm in St Gabriels Church Hall, Old Cwmbran.

“New members are always welcome of any age. We are a friendly bunch.”

Annual membership is £34.70. Members pay £2 a month for to go towards costs like rent and a raffle.
