This is the Fairwater House pub photographed at 8.40am this morning.

My father in law used to drink there and he told me last week it was closing on Saturday.

I spotted the pub open on Sunday so thought another temporary manager had been taken on by the building’s owners and moved in to keep it open.

But yesterday the windows and doors were boarded up.
